Akiyama's Unique 3•4•3 Drum Arrangement
1 The impression cylinder adopts a triple-diameter design with a diameter of φ900mm, while the transfer cylinder adopts a quadruple-diameter design with a diameter of φ1200mm.
2 The use of large-radius cylinders prevents defects such as paper bending, creasing, scratching, and smudging during paper transfer.
3 High-quality printing is achieved for various paper types, including thin paper, thick paper, and cardboard used for packaging boxes.
4 From the start of printing to the completion of sheet delivery at the delivery unit, the paper is transferred only twice within the main unit, ensuring high-precision register accuracy.
5 Two printing units share one impression cylinder, allowing paper transfer to occur after printing is completed.
6 Since the paper is transferred from the impression cylinder to the delivery gripper bars after printing is finished, the occurrence of shock bars is prevented.
7 The compact structure reduces the overall machine footprint.
